Why the Parliament is needed
Religious identity shapes the lives of billions of people, and faith leaders carry significant moral influence within their communities. Misinformation and religious misunderstanding can escalate tension quickly, yet there is no single neutral, parliament-style platform dedicated to religious peace in which public institutions may also take part without directing religious representation.
- Dialogue between traditions is often occasional rather than institutional.
- Humanitarian efforts by faith organizations are frequently duplicated for want of coordination.
- Research on religion and conflict prevention rarely reaches the institutions that need it.
- Young people and women are often consulted late, if at all.

Proposed two-chamber governance model
Two institutionally separate chambers are proposed so that faith communities and public institutions may cooperate without either controlling the other. The complete model is a proposed governance framework and is not yet adopted.

Interfaith Dialogue and Assembly
To provide a standing, neutral forum in which recognized faith traditions can meet in dignity and address shared concerns without any tradition being ranked above another.

Mediation and Reconciliation
To offer, on request only, faith-sensitive mediation support in community-level tension where religious identity is a factor.

Humanitarian Interfaith Alliance
To coordinate willing faith-based and community relief organizations so that assistance reaches people without discrimination and without duplication.

Scholars and Research Academy
To build an independent evidence base on religion, conflict prevention, coexistence and the social role of faith communities.
